Liam & Renae

Blackbutt Plumbing Solutions is a family owned company in Blackbutt, Queensland. Liam and Renae Wellsteed have proudly operated the company since its humble beginnings in 2009.

Liam started in the plumbing industry in 2000. Various travel adventures has taken Liam and Renae all around Australia exposing Liam to many facets of the plumbing industry across every state and territory working for government, private and commercial corporations including leading teams into isolated rural and remote projects all over Australia. Since settling in Blackbutt, Liam and Renae have brought their expertise and professionalism to build a growing enterprise that their clients were looking for.

Liam Wellsteed

Meet Liam

Liam Wellsteed owner and director of Blackbutt Plumbing Solutions with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Starting Blackbutt Plumbing Solutions in 2009 as a sole trader and since has guided the company to flourish, currently with 9 on the team and looking to grow. Liam has a comprehensive understanding across all aspects of plumbing, gas and wastewater treatment plants. Liam is responsible for overlooking all aspects of the company, is our resident technical specialist, as well as servicing our HSTP systems throughout the South Burnett, Toowoomba and Somerset council areas.
Sarah Schloss

Meet Sarah

Sarah Schloss joined the Blackbutt Plumbing administration team in mid 2021. Sarah brings over 20 years of customer service experience and a lifetime of local knowledge to the team. Sarah provides instrumental administrative support to the Admin and Operational teams. Sarah is responsible for receiving and registering incoming enquiries, assisting with wastewater schedules and processing Accounts Receivable and Payable requirements. Our plumbing team has continued to increase productivity since Sarah has joined our team.
Kayla Gilliand

Meet Kayla

Kayla Gilliand joined the administration team in 2019. Since joining the Blackbutt Plumbing team, Kayla's knowledge in all things plumbing has continued to grow. Kayla is responsible for the administration management of our wastewater treatment plants, servicing and scheduling. Kayla plays an integral role in Accounts Receivable, additionally ensuring Blackbutt Plumbing Solutions meets regulatory requirements for reporting to local government authority. Kayla ensures our social media content is up to date and keeps the community informed.
Renae Wellsteed

Meet Renae

Renae Wellsteed co-owner and Business Manager of Blackbutt Plumbing Solutions. Renae’s successful drive and ambitious personality is clear. Her commitment to continuously providing employees and customers with the best work environment and customer service experience. Her ability to adjust and continue in any situation is admirable. Renae oversees all administrative duties and ensures the company is running smoothly and efficiently. As well as general operation, accounting, costing and budget, and much more!
Tye Lowe

Meet Tye

Tye Lowe joined the Blackbutt Plumbing Team in early 2021 as a qualified plumber, after completing his apprenticeship elsewhere. Tye continues to learn further aspects of plumbing from working alongside our knowledgeable tradesmen. Tye’s role included general maintenance, and new work on new builds and renovations.
Cody Hancock

Meet Cody

Cody Hancock joined our team in late 2021 to start his plumbing apprenticeship. Cody shows a strong work ethic and keen to learn from our experienced team. Cody will complete his apprenticeship working alongside our team, to learn all aspects of plumbing, gas and wastewater.
